

Kurtia Williams, MSW
Kurtia Williams is a registered clinical social worker intern who prides herself on working with underprivileged and at-risk youth and adults in the at-risk population. With over six years of experience in the mental health realm, Ms.Williams has assisted clients in their overall well-being and used evidence-based practice to assist in helping clients address mental health issues and trauma in assisting with holistic change in each individual’s life.
Currently, she works with adolescents in Miami Dade county schools who deal with behavioral health and psychosocial issues. She uses evidence-based techniques such as trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. Ms. Williams is poised to endorse growth and change in individuals who seek holistic change in their lives socially and emotionally.
Ms. Williams has a Master of Social Work degree and a background in criminal Justice with a concentration in criminology. Ms. Williams is a Social Work intern vying to retrieve her clinical licensure.
